How to make a polaroids effect using photoshop? First we have to create the polaroids tones.

1)Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Curves

Change the red,green and blue curves.For this image I use these following curves to get the polaroids tones that I want.

2)Filter>Blur>Lens Blur

adjust the radius, blade curvature and noise.

3) Create a new layer (white) >Filter>Render>Fiber

4) Change the layer from normal to screen..

5) Done! simple as that.
